How do I choose a secure password?

Passwords in DISCO are required to be at least six characters long and contain at least one number, but we strongly recommend a longer password, containing upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters. The longer and more complex your password is, the better.

Here's an example of a weak and strong password:

(Please do not use either of these passwords for your DISCO đŸ˜‚)

We also perform a check on all passwords to ensure they have not been exposed in data breaches anywhere else on the internet. If your password has previously been in a breach, you will see this message. We will require you to choose a different password before you can proceed.

If you see this message and have chosen a password that you are also using on other applications, we strongly encourage you to change that password everywhere. Passwords that have been exposed in data breaches are more likely to be used by bad actors to attempt to gain access to personal accounts.

In addition to having a secure password, we strongly recommend you enable MFA in your DISCO.

Please also be sure to review your security responsibilities as a DISCO user.
