Creating playlists

Adding and sending music with DISCO is super simple. This video shows how you can create a playlist and share music in under 30 seconds:

The shortlist

The shortlist area at the right of the app is where you can create playlists. There will always be an open, empty playlist there for you to start with.

Adding tracks

You can add music and file to your playlists in a number of ways:

• by uploading tracks from your iTunes or computer

• by dragging tracks from your DISCO library

• by dragging playlists from your DISCO library

Drag any tracks you like from your iTunes or hard drive:

If you want to add any existing tracks or playlists, just drag them from the Explorer section (the main body of the app). You can also drag any item from search.

Working with multiple playlists at once

You can create multiple playlists in the Shortlist area at the same time. To create a new playlist, click 'Create a New Playlist' at the top of the Shortlist menu.

You can minimise an open playlist using the double arrows in the playlist menu:

Saving playlists

Once you're ready to save your playlist, click Save. This will bring up a window with a few options.

Here you can name your playlist, attach a theme, save it to a channel or library in your DISCO, and set it to streaming only, or make it a client list.

When you're ready, click Save Playlist.

You'll then get the option to grab a shareable url for your playlist, or email it directly to people via the Share this playlist button.

Accessing saved playlists

Once your list is saved, it will will be removed from the shortlist, and will appear in your team library:

Access the URL any time by clicking Get URL from the playlist hamburger menu.
